Hello there!
My name’s Connor Brennan, and I’m the author of Quis ut Deus? Over the years since I first started blogging here on WordPress, I’ve written primarily about faith-based subjects. I was raised United Methodist, and while I still identify as such, I’ve enjoyed exploring more profound Christian spirituality, especially in the testimonies of Catholic saints such as St. Faustina Kowalska. Her personal relationship with Jesus and all He told her about the depths of God’s Mercy has been a perpetual source of comfort for me.
While I still occasionally write about faith-based topics, I tend to write more about my love of nature photography nowadays. I’m especially interested in bird photography! If you’ve read my blog posts featuring my favorite bird pictures, you’re likely to have read about Sam the Song Sparrow, my favorite neighborhood bird buddy with whom I have a special bond.
Building relationships with the birds in our neighborhood has been a potent antidepressant and an ongoing blessing. I feel God’s love when I’m with them, especially when they approach me out of curiosity. The American goldfinches here, despite their shyness, continue to surprise me with how bold they can be at times. Perhaps they recognize me as a fellow introvert!

Thank you for visiting my blog!
With love,
Connor
